When to Go

The Jackson Hole ski season is nearly five months long, giving both skiers and snowboarders plenty of time to carve their own path in the fresh powder. The season runs from opening day on November 24th until April 7th, but there is never a bad time to start planning your trip! Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is no joke. The airport services direct flights from 12 major cities across the U.S. and is just seven minutes from Jackson, Wyoming. Occasionally, winter weather makes landing in Jackson quite difficult. When flights into Jackson Hole Airport are diverted, they  usually end up in Idaho Falls Regional Airport or Salt Lake City, Utah, both of which are a couple of hours drive from Jackson Hole.
