7 Trails That Will Make Your Jackson Hole Hiking Experience Unforgettable
Hidden Falls and Cascade Canyon
As its name suggests, the Hidden Falls Trail features a cascading waterfall that makes every step worth it. It’s nestled right next to the tallest Teton peaks, which makes for incredible views. The 1.3-mile trail is moderate and appeals to hikers of most skill levels.
Teton Pass and Black Canyon
Teton Pass is another stunning hike. It’s approximately 4 miles long and makes you start at the Teton Pass. You also won’t have to climb too high during your climb. Indeed, the trail starts after the elevation’s the steepest!
Granite Canyon Loop is a perfect continuation of the Teton Pass hike. The trailhead is located by the pass station and leads west toward the mountain. This is a hike you’ll want to remember, so bring your camera!
Static Peak Divide
The Static Peak Divide starts at the Death Canyon trailhead and is considered the highest mountain pass in Grand Teton Park. We highly recommend you hike the trail before noon as afternoon thunderstorms can be quite intense up there.
Two Oceans Lake Loop
Two Oceans Lake is perfect for hikers wanting to avoid the crowded areas. The loop trail is located in the northeast part of Grand Teton and features rolling terrain and stellar views of the mountain range.
Swan Lake and Heron Pond
Want to enjoy some wildlife spotting during your hike? Head to Swan Lake and Heron Pond. The trail is an easy, two-mile loop that can make for a great family adventure.
We saved the best for last! Inspiration Point is one of the most popular hiking trails in Jackson Hole, and for a good reason. It offers some of the most outstanding views of Jenny Lake, Hidden Falls, and the Gros Ventre Mountain Range.
